The Berlin based electronic duo AKA AKA are the best example that trust in your own personal work does not only disburse, but is also spelled with elements of courage, faith and strength of purpose. When Saarland-born Hannes and Holger from East Frisia met each other at one of those legendary Berlin open-air parties in 2008, it wasn’t only the start of a refreshing friendship; they found the infamous wavelength in very short period of time. With different socialization equipped, they both use their divergent past as well as the joint project to give their common ambition a name. Ever since then they played over 1000 shows and released over 100 tracks and remixes, claimed numerous awards and are as ever productive especially since the corona virus lockdown in 2020. The two are focusing on the music part of the game and already tripled their streamings on Spotify and are collaborating with numerous DJs and producers from different genres who also see the crisis as a chance to use the surplus of time in the studio, develop new ideas and build new networks. They just signed with Dimitri Vegas' label Smash Deep and did a remake of their first hit single Woody.

Die "Umsonst und Draußen"-Kultur, die einst so prägend war, hat sich verändert, vor allem durch steigende Kosten und Inflation. Eintrittspreise von 20-60€ sind in Berlin mittlerweile die Norm. Doch jetzt setzen AKA AKA ein Zeichen: Mit ihrem Rave im Festsaal Kreuzberg öffnen sie die Türen für alle - ganz ohne Eintritt. Im Zentrum dieses Events steht der Community-Gedanke, geprägt von Liebe und Respekt. Neben dem Mainfloor, wo AKA AKA die ganze Nacht über für Stimmung sorgen werden, gibt es auch einen Second Floor.
